Polo Urias Y Su Maquina Norteña
Polo Urias y Su Maquina Norteña is one of the legendary bands of the Norteño genre, celebrated by multiple Latin Grammy nominations and sold-out concerts all over the U.S. and Mexico. Urias, who was a founding member of Los Rieleros del Norte, founded this new group in 1994. They have recorded more than fifteen albums.
His many hits include "La Chancla", "Una Aventura" and "Para que Quieres que Vuelva".
Originally from Northern Chihuahua, Mexico, Urias and his band are now based in Hobbs, NM. Each year, on November 15th, Polo Urias Day is celebrated in Odessa, Texas.
