Las Perlas

Las Perlas, the nation’s first mezcal bar, opened the doors of their second location in Austin in September 2017. From the acclaimed 213 Hospitality group (The Varnish, Los Angeles; Half Step, Austin), Las Perlas brings its Oaxacan flair to the city’s bustling Downtown nightlife scene, paying tribute to Mexico’s native spirit. The bar offers an expansive collection of premium agave spirits and a selection of handcrafted cocktails – such as the Spiced Daisy, Poblano Escobar, and Oaxacan Negroni – as well as Mexican cervezas in an intimate and lively setting. Guests can also expand their knowledge of mezcal with Las Perlas’ Mezcal Collective and regularly partake in comparative tastings hosted by master distillers & blenders and brand ambassadors. Starting October 2017, the bar will begin serving up street tacos from a local Austin vendor and debut a live music program, including Mariachi bands, spaghetti cumbia, banda, norteño, and Tejano.
