Dasha Deraga
Dr. Dasha Deraga is a Physical Anthropolgist and Professor based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, where she works for Centro de INAH Jalisco and the University of Guadalajara. Her recent work has focused on rural agriculture, food security, and biodiversity. In particular, she has studied the intersection of biology and culture in the concepts of intergenerational knowledge that persist in these communities. She has given particular emphasis to recording the conditions of plants and animals and overall family food security in relation to biodiversity.
