Robert Kinsell

Robert Kinsell is a painter and photographer and is the retired director of the painting program at Stephen F. Austin State University. He holds an MFA from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and as an undergraduate he worked as a studio assistant to Philip Pearlstein in New York City. KInsell was an Art Director in advertising at various agencies in Chicago and worked in this capacity for Harley-Davidson, Bell and Howell and Head Tennis. He has been a season resident of the Davis Mountains since 2003 and a full time resident since 2013. His work is included in numerous private and public collections and his paintings are represented by the Hooks-Epstein Galleries in Houston, Texas.
