Johnny Sufficool
Big Bend resident and local legend, Johnny Sufficool will share his remarkable knowledge of the regional uses of the agave as learned from the Tarahumara Indians of Northern Chihuahua. Sufficol is a long time producer of sotol and other agave-based spirits and is, to our minds, the Bacchus of the Big Bend, appearing from time to time to enliven the spirits of pretty much everyone he meets.
Johnny's presentation in 2017 was one of the year's highlights. We're very excited to see what he'll cook up this year.
