The Marfa Book Company believes that bookstores are more than just businesses.

Marfa Book Company is a bookstore; publisher; film, music and performance space located in Marfa, Texas. In business for almost twenty years, MBCo. has been at the center of the town's changes during that time. They provide space for significant cultural encounters by hosting events throughout the year, including talks and readings by local artists and writers in residence.

Tim Johnson, one of the owners of the Marfa Book Company, is a co-founder of AgaveFestivalMarfa.
